  • Hi Jess! I loved this post and I've been really thinking about how to implement Ellyn Satter's philosophies as well. I keep getting stuck at the meal prep stage. I was a huge fan of CookSmarts but I just fell of the wagon because it was feeling hard to cook 4 new meals every week. I suppose I just need to better customize my meal plans so that every week we are doing only about 1 new recipe and then pulling favorites from the archives. I might be back soon to try this out!

    • Yes, I think if you're a busy family, maybe just doing 2 new meals a week and filling the rest of the week with reliable favorites might be a good way to go! So long as you're providing good options, I think the rest will eventually take care of itself.
